Justice Department Continues Obstruction of Congressional Inquiry

The Associated Press reports that the Department of Justice, responding to Congressional document production demands, has again refused to surrender copies of the most sensitive documents which were sought: a group of memoranda discussing the dismissal of the so-called Gonzales Eight—the eight U.S. attorneys who were fired on December 7, 2006 following consultations with Karl Rove and others in the White House.
