Private military contractors are now a $120 billion dollar, global industry. The industry has been with us for some time, but it has grown like a mushroom after the storm in the course of the war on terror. Specific issues have arisen following an incident on Baghdad’s Nisoor Square on September 16, which left 15 Iraqis dead.
