“Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus said Thursday that so far a breakneck schedule for writing a health care overhaul into law remains on track, with a committee markup scheduled for June and a bill on the Senate floor prior to the August recess,” CQ reported yesterday.

Baucus delivered his remarks, the article noted, at a breakfast briefing sponsored by The Hill newspaper and–wait for it–the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca.
