On the Daily Show last night (video below), Jon Stewart highlighted Rick Sanchez’s coverage of the earthquake in Chile, saying that the CNN newsman reminded him of “a guy at a party who’s doing a lot of coke and traps you in a corner and explains really intensely how an ant is the strongest animal on earth.”
Highlight: Sanchez identifies Hawaii as a small dot off the northwestern coast of South America, about 4,500 miles from the actual location of the Hawaiian Islands. Congratulations, Mr. Sanchez–you’ve found the Galapagos Islands!
