Since April 2007, Harper's has provided its entire archive to our subscribers for free. Only paid subscribers and certain institutions (see next question) may log in to access the quarter-million page archive.
There are two ways to gain access:
Yes! Contact our partner Opinion Archives.
Yes. That email came from our subscription management firm.
Very, very, very often it transpires that a spouse, loved one, secretary, boss, friend, roommate, or even family pet has gone ahead and registered your subscription for web access without informing you. Sometimes the easiest way to access Harper's online is to ask the people nearby what username and password they used to log in.
If that doesn't work and you're stumped, go ahead and send an email to webmaster@harpers.org. Please include your subscriber number to ensure a prompt reply.
No problem--just send an email with your NAME and ADDRESS to customer support at <PRScustserv@cdsfulfillment.com> or call our toll-free U.S. phone number 1-800-444-4653. The helpful people there will tell you your subscriber number; then you can visit our registration page to establish your online account.
Yes, once your subscription expires you will no longer have access to online content. When you renew and pay for your subscription your access to the online version and archive will be activated.
