Tom DeLay: Get this man a dictionary

By Ken Silverstein

The Democratic Party and other leftist rabble are in big trouble. Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay’s new Coalition for a Conservative Majority (CCM) is raising money from conservative donors and he is promising to “put together a grassroots-based operation that will hold accountable… liberal politicians.”

In a fundraising pitch, DeLay describes the CCM as “the first real grassroots organization worthy of the name.” His group will fight back, DeLay promises, and success is guaranteed for a simple reason: He has found “the Democrats’ Achilles’ Heal.”

The person who called this to my attention writes: “Conservative Republicans seriously need to rethink their opposition to the No Child Left Behind Act. Clearly national standards are necessary. Every child who graduates from elementary school should know that words that sound the same sometimes have different meanings.”
