Not Much of a Sting

By Ken Silverstein

From TPM:

[Congresswoman] Myrick and three other members of the Congressional Anti-Terrorism Caucus came to a news conference today armed with Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America (WND Books, $22.95). They called on the sergeant at arms to investigate whether, as Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) put it, a group that “is connected to or supports terrorists [and] is running influence operations or planting spies in key national security-related offices.”

As an undercover sting, the “infiltration” of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) looks a little flat. In the recent case of ACORN investigators found that the group was willing to offer advice to a pimp about how to buy a home (where the staff of prostitutes were to be underage immigrants from Central America.

In this case, the investigation didn’t appear to find CAIR guilty of anything much at all. Among the explosive revelations of how CAIR planned the Islamic takeover of America:

“We will complete the installation, training, and deployment of a full range of productivity tools. (Outlook, Sharepoint for document managmenet, eMail, Wiki for management of free form text, CRM, …and civil rights database)…. We will complete the revamping of our website and integration with our systems and processes.”
