Lt. Justin Henderson, one of Matthew Diaz’s detailed defense counsel, takes issue with some of the arguments made about his case here, including the suggestion that Diaz was “targeted” and that he “stood up to the Administration.” The statement, of course, was that he stood up for the Geneva Conventions and the Law, not “against the Administration.” No officer in a court-martial setting needs to be settled with a count of insubordination on top of everything else, of course.
