Dear Readers,
We’re pleased to announce that a dedicated Harper’s Magazine app is now available for download in the Google Play store.
Print subscribers with Android smartphones or tablets will be able to read Harper’s on their devices free of charge, while other readers around the world will be able to subscribe and purchase single issues on their devices. All those who subscribe through the app will also receive access to the magazine’s 164-year online archive, and subscribers in the United States and Canada will receive the print edition free, as well.
We developed both our Android app and our iOS app in partnership with 29th Street Publishing, to whom we owe great thanks. We’ll be working with them in the coming months to add new features, and to make your experience with the app as smooth as possible.
In the short term, we hope you’ll draw our attention to any bugs you encounter, whether in the comments below or by emailing us at [email protected]. And if you like what you see, please take the time to add a rating in the Play store.
