An illustrated interpretation of a passage from Brin-Jonathan Butler’s Domino Diaries, out next month from Picador. Butler trained as a boxer in Havana, Cuba, where, in 2007, he attended a fight at Kid Chocolate, a gym named for Eligio “Kid Chocolate“ Sardiñas Montalvo, Cuba’s first world boxing champion.
