Pincus’s Double Standard

The dean of Washington’s national security reporters, Walter Pincus, wrote a column back on September 1 in which he described the case of a former Army lieutenant colonel who brandished a gun in an interrogation in Iraq and got disciplined. Pincus says that Eric Holder’s decision to investigate CIA interrogators—including a couple of cases that look similar—presents the prospect of a double standard. But I discovered that Pincus’s recounting of the story was missing most of the critical facts. Catch the story here at the Huffington Post.
