Two thousand people murdered, a half million left homeless—that’s the bottom line following a week of horrendous terrorist violence in Kyrgyzstan. The nation has given both the United States and the Russian Federation air bases on its soil, but are Obama and Medvedev prepared to do anything to help their ally? That’s one question that will face the two presidents when they hold their White House summit next week.
