Last night, Harper’s won the National Magazine Award for fiction, for Stephen King’s story “Batman and Robin Have an Altercation” (September 2012). Accepting the award, the magazine’s nineteenth Ellie, editor Ellen Rosenbush told the crowd that Stephen King said he was “blissed out” when he heard about the nomination. We congratulate him and the staff of Harper’s for the honor.
